Full Fibre Broadband on the Estate

  • Full Fibre Broadband Rollout by Openreach (OE) - 2025 - select

We have now entered the second phase of Full Fibre rollout.

    • Members should contact their Internet Provider (ISP) of choice (Sky, EE, BT etc.) & negotiate a contract with them.

    • The ISP will contact Openreach who will make the connection free of charge to your property from the fibre cables in the verge.

    • Openreach will arrange for a survey to see if you have suitable ducting in place already, & if not will detail what works will be required. Our experience is that no appointment is made but you may find white lines outside & on your property to show where the ducting need to run.

    • You may receive a form from Openreach seeking your consent to dig your garden & drive etc.

    • Openreach will also set an Install Date. Again our experience is that this will normally be after any digging work has been done.

    • If you don't own the verge outside your property:

      •  You will need the permission of CPEL & need to complete & return the form below - ‘CPEL Connection Consent’.

      • CPEL will also receive a form from Openreach seeking consent to dig on the verge or road. This is currently taking several weeks to come through to CPEL.
