A reminder of a date for your diary!

The 1st Annual Craigweil fundraising Summer Afternoon Tea Party and Quiz

We welcome as many residents and their family and friends to come together for a fun and convivial afternoon.

During the event, we are hoping to raise money for charity through a cake sale and raffle. The three charities considered are:
1. Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice in Bognor
2. The British Heart Foundation
3. The West Sussex Wildlife Protection

We will also be running a poll on the Craigweil Informer WhatsApp Group to gauge preference for which charity.

We would be so appreciative for all and any donations - cakes (homemade or shop bought) can be delivered to Lara at 1 Queensway the day before or brought on the day.

Raffle donations can be given at any time leading up to the event (also to 1 Queensway). There will be 3 lovely Hamper prizes - a beauty hamper, a gourmet food and wine hamper and an arts and craft hamper. Grateful if donations could be tailored to one of these themes.

Raffle tickets will be sold on the day for £1 and are also available to be bought in advance by contacting the estate through the email address.

Itinerary:
2.45pm arrivals - bring your own finger sandwiches, tables and chairs, plates and cups, pens for the quiz, cash for the cake and raffle (and a bin bag for rubbish)

Cakes donated for the charity bake sale table can be bought to eat at the party.

4.00 - 4.45pm - Tea party QUIZ

2. Food and drink
3. The Arts
4. True or False

 Print outs and paper will be provided.

4.45 - 5.00pm - Quiz and raffle winners announced - prize will be given to the Quiz champions.

Please note the event is weather contingent. It will go ahead with light rain - residents are encouraged to bring a gazebo to erect on verges (as required). In the event of heavy wind or rain, we will need to postpone.

If anyone needs help on the day carrying chairs etc - please let us know and we can organise.
